Mark Breier, Managing Partner

Mark is an author, investor, technology veteran, and marketing expert who offers funding, strategic counsel and mentoring to portfolio companies. Career highlights include:

• CEO/president of Beyond.com, and VP of marketing at Amazon.com during its hypergrowth period. Mark was an executive at Kraft, Dreyer's/Edy's Ice Cream, Cinnabon and General Mills.
• Board member of several technology start-ups, including MultiDigit and ecMarkets.
• Author of The 10-Second Internet Manager and editor of a monthly "10-Second Tips" e-newsletter. He is a popular media spokesperson about business/technology.
• MBA and bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University. Former president of Stanford Alumni Association.

Paul Yiu, Senior Associate

Paul manages the daily operational issues of FAV, including reviewing business proposals, searching for innovative technologies, performing due diligence and providing operational guidance and support for FAV portfolio companies. His background includes:

• Cofounder and vice president of marketing and product management at Switchouse, an online consumer goods exchange. Paul has held marketing and technical positions at Extensity, Oracle, Netscape and Hitachi.
• MBA from Northwestern University and bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley.

Tom Engdahl

Tom has founded five technology companies and brings more than 27 years of technical and managerial expertise to FAV. His work experience includes:

• Former CEO/president of Alloptic, a fiber optic components and terminal equipment company and Kasenna, a streaming media software developer.
• Founder of three media companies: VNI, Digital Video and Applied Digital Access.
• Key positions at companies such as M/A-Com, Northern Telecom, DSC Communications, and Pacific Bell.
• Holds nine patents for telecommunications and video-cable products.

Behrouz Arbab

Behrouz brings to FAV more than 20 years of systems design and product development experience to Fast Angels. His career highlights feature:

• Former EVP of engineering and CIO at AuctionWatch, an online sales channel software developer.
• Management and technical positions at Egreetings, Semio Corp., Cisco Systems, Oracle, Computer Power Software Group, Harwell Computer Power, UK Atomic Energy Research Establishment and the European Law Center.

Dave Stewart

Dave brings more than two decades of computer experience, including designing personal computers and mainframes and driving technical innovation in computer audio, video and multimedia software.

• Vice president of engineering and CTO at Perfect Line LLC, which develops the NASCAR racing simulator.
• Technical management positions at webMethods, Streamvision, Sun Microsystems and Apple Computer.

John Vigoroux

John brings to FAV an extensive background in leading companies to business success, with a combination of executive, technical and marketing experience from a variety of technology leaders. His background includes:

• Former president of AuctionWatch, a developer of online sales channel software.
• Technical and marketing experience from Beyond.com, Cisco Systems, Adobe Systems and GE Information Services.

Brian Sroub

Brian is a seasoned general manager with speed-oriented, entrepreneurial expertise built on a solid old-economy foundation. His work track record includes:

• CEO of Aqui Tracking Services, and previous chairman and CEO of Chipshot.com, an online golf retailer.
• Executive positions at Beyond.com, Hearst Corp., Sony Corp., Procter & Gamble and Litton Industries.
